PRACTICE AREAS: Family Law, Matrimonial Law

Andrew D. Eichner advises clients in all areas of family and matrimonial law, including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, marital settlements, asset valuations and distributions, parenting agreements, child-custody and child-support matters, and family law settlements. An experienced litigator, he regularly represents individuals in negotiations and at trial.

Mr. Eichner is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association (Family Law Section) and the Chicago Bar Association. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (Illinois Chapter). Mr. Eichner has been named to the Leading Lawyers Network and has earned a peer rating of BV® Distinguished™ by Martindale-Hubbell®. He has also recently earned recognition as a 2011 Illinois Super Lawyer.

A regularly published author, Mr. Eichner has written numerous articles on topics ranging from discovery to domestic violence and expert testimony. He lectures on family and matrimonial law and has served on the faculty of the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Illinois State Bar Association. While in law school, he was associate editor of the Loyola University of Chicago Law Journal.
