Brendan J. Hammer represents clients in all areas of family and matrimonial law, dispute resolution and litigation.
While in law school, Mr. Hammer was a member of the Order of the Coif and graduated in the top ten percent of his class. A staff member of the DePaul Law Review, he was also a quarter-finalist in the Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Appellate Competition, was co-founder and treasurer of the DePaul University College of Law ATLA, was selected by the faculty and administration as the College of Law’s ambassador to the 2006 ATLA National Conference, and was a recipient of the CALI Excellence Award in Marital Dissolution Process & Trial Advocacy.
Mr. Hammer was a fellow in the Schiller, DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center at the DePaul University College of Law and represented indigent clients in domestic relations courts for the College’s Family Law Clinic. He earned a Certificate in Family Law.
Mr. Hammer is a member of the American Bar Association (Family Law and Litigation sections), the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, and the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois.
