Berger Schatz

Megan V. McAlister represents clients in all areas of family and matrimonial law, dispute resolution, and litigation, including matters involving corporate valuations, complex financial issues, non-marital tracing and asset protection, child custody and visitation, as well as grandparent visitation.

Ms. McAlister was selected for inclusion in the 2011 and 2013 list of Rising Stars by Illinois Super Lawyers.

Ms. McAlister is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Lake County Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Association of Women Attorneys of Lake County.

Prior to joining Berger Schatz, Ms. McAlister served as a law clerk at two Chicago-area firms, where she concentrated on corporate defense, commercial litigation and aviation disaster cases.

Bar Admissions

Ms. McAlister is admitted to practice in Illinois. She also has been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
