Adam Hearn represents individuals in all aspects of family and matrimonial law, including complex financial, business and litigation issues.
Prior to joining Berger Schatz, Mr. Hearn worked as an executive compensation consultant, advising public and private companies on all areas of compensation strategy, plan design and planning for long-term wealth accumulation. After law school, Mr. Hearn practiced at Jones Day in Chicago, focusing on the executive compensation and employee benefits aspects of corporate transactions for both public companies and private equity funds.
During law school, Mr. Hearn won a case as lead counsel on a civil constitutional claim after a three-day jury trial in federal court. In addition, Mr. Hearn won various ABA client counseling competitions, was named Best Oralist in the Frederick Green Moot Court and received the Rickert Award for Excellence in Advocacy.
Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Hearn earned his MBA and spent over six years as the head of acquisitions for a national commercial real estate company.
Mr. Hearn is licensed to practice in Illinois.
