Brendan Hammer will be on faculty at the National Family Law Trial Institute (NFLTI) Regular Program May 18 – May 25, 2019 in Houston.
As part of the intensive seminar, Mr. Hammer and his litigation colleagues from across the country will share insights and instruction on an array of family law litigation matters. Over the course of eight days, attendees will develop skills training in all aspects of family law litigation, from opening statements and witness testimony to the rules of evidence and closing argument. The week culminates with a final trial in the Harris County Civil Courthouse in Houston, Texas.
A talented and creative courtroom litigator, Mr. Hammer draws upon his experience representing a wide variety of individuals, from executives, entrepreneurs, and medical, legal and creative professionals to political figures, professional athletes and their spouses. He concentrates his practice on the litigation of sophisticated family law matters including the valuation and division of assets, fraud and dissipation claims, complex compensation structures, spousal challenges to trust and estate plans and high net worth maintenance and child support.
In addition to Mr. Hammer, the NFLTI counts among its faculty over a dozen seasoned family law litigators from Texas, New York, California and Florida, as well as Jay Fishman, an expert on valuation and co-author with Shannon Pratt of seminal business valuation texts; and Dr. Jonathan Gould, an expert on custody evaluations and co-author of equally seminal evaluation works.
The NFLTI is the nation’s preeminent litigation skills course dedicated exclusively to family law. For more information, visit here.
