Prior to joining Berger Schatz, Jessica was an Assistant State’s Attorney for Cook County.
Jessica graduated cum laude from University of Illinois College of Law. During law school she held various externships including for the Honorable James P. Flannery Jr., Presiding Judge of the Law Division in the Circuit Court of Cook County, for the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation, and for The Immigration Project.
She served as Editor in Chief of the Journal of Law, Technology and Policy, was President of the American Constitution Society, and Secretary of the Family Law Society.
In law school she earned the Rickert Award for Excellence in Legal Writing.
Jessica is very comfortable in the courtroom, empathetic, calm, and willing to help her clients figure out what solutions are the best fit for them.
