Project Assistant (Paralegal Department)- Family Law in Chicago
Be part of our prestigious matrimonial and family law firm with offices in Chicago and downtown Lake Forest. We need a smart, professional team player to handle a variety of duties, remaining organized while jumping from project to project in our Chicago office. Responsibilities include subpoena responses, document management and assist paralegals with other tasks. Requirements include excellent computer skills, organization, time management, problem-solving skills, along with a confident, can-do attitude. Hours for this position are 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday in our Chicago office.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 year in a professional office environment, law firm experience a plus
- Strong computer skills are required, Excel and database management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent customer service skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle all tracking of subpoena responses
- Organize documents; Including Bates stamp, redacting, productions
- Assist with creating / updating spreadsheets; balance sheets, dissipations, discovery indexes
- Assist with Flip responses and interrogatories
- Trial exhibit preparation
- Assist paralegals with projects and follow up.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Database and email management
- Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
