Berger Schatz

Claudia Gallo has extensive experience in family and matrimonial law. Ms. Gallo joined Berger Schatz in 2008 and has been a partner since 2010.

In September 2011, Ms. Gallo was named one of “40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty to Watch” by the Law Bulletin Publishing Company. Ms. Gallo has also been selected for inclusion in the 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 list of Rising Stars by Illinois Super Lawyers.

Before joining Berger Schatz, Ms. Gallo practiced family law at the law firm of Jenner & Block. She also has practiced in the areas of insurance coverage, complex tort and commercial litigation. In 2004, Ms. Gallo completed the American Bar Association Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute, an intensive trial and litigation program. While in law school, Ms. Gallo was a member of the editorial staff of the Chicago-Kent Law Review and served as Notes and Comments editor.

Ms. Gallo is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association (past co-chair, Young Lawyers Section Family Law Committee).

Ms. Gallo is admitted to practice in Illinois and New York, and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
